黑碳化硅是以石英砂,石油焦為主要原料,通過電阻燒高溫冶煉而成,其硬度介于剛玉和金剛石之間,機(jī)械強(qiáng)度高于剛玉,性脆而鋒利.具有一定的導(dǎo)電性和導(dǎo)熱性.用它制作磨具,加工抗強(qiáng)張度低的金屬和非金屬材料.如有色金屬,石材,皮革等.還廣泛用于耐火材料,冶金添加劑.

Black silicon carbide

black silicon carbide is produced at high temperature in an electric resistancetype furnace with quarts sand and petroleum coke as its main raw materials. Its hardness is between fused alumina and synthetic diamond. Mechanical intensity of it is higher than fused alumina. It is brittle and sharp and has electrical and heat conductivity in some degree. The abrasives made of it are suitable for working on cast iron, non-ferrous metal, rock, leather ,rubber, etc.It is also broadly used as refractory material and metallurgical additive.
