    制冷劑按過濾器上箭頭所指示的方向流動(dòng)時(shí)，旁通益流閥起作用。如果流過元件時(shí)產(chǎn)生過大的工作壓力降，則旁通益流閥稍微開啟，以保持足夠的氣流并使全封閉壓縮機(jī)馬達(dá)得到適當(dāng)?shù)睦鋮s。當(dāng)吸氣過濾安裝方向與箭頭所指的方向相反時(shí)，旁通益流閥不起作用，不管壓力降多大，它都不會開啟，這時(shí)需接一只檢修閥，以便測量經(jīng)過濾芯至壓縮機(jī)吸氣輔助閥的壓力降。如果吸氣過濾器的旁通益流特征不起作用，就可用此檢修閥作壓力測量。
